Explore Reina's Restaurant

Reina's Restaurant, located at 1025 13th St in Richmond, CA, offers a warm, inviting atmosphere where you can experience a mix of traditional and flavorful dishes. The restaurant has garnered attention for its signature pupusas, which are a popular choice among many visitors. Known for their rich, savory flavors, the pupusas are often complemented by curtido, a tangy slaw that perfectly balances the dish. Many patrons have expressed their appreciation for the quality of these items, particularly noting that the curtido is consistently on point.

However, not every visit has been flawless. While the pupusas generally receive praise for their taste, there have been occasional inconsistencies, with some guests feeling that the flavors weren't as vibrant as expected, particularly during busier times like Friday afternoons. Despite these occasional variations, Reina’s remains a beloved spot for those craving a comforting meal, especially if you’re looking for hearty, satisfying options.

Another dish that has sparked attention is the Baleadas, a Honduran specialty. When prepared correctly, the Baleadas are a crowd-pleaser, offering a deliciously rich combination of beans, cheese, and a flour tortilla. However, some diners have mentioned a small hiccup in their experience, such as missing ingredients like avocado, which is often an expected topping. This slight oversight, while disappointing, hasn't deterred fans from returning, as they hope to have a better experience next time.

Reina’s Restaurant provides a flavorful introduction to Central American cuisine, with a strong focus on comfort food that feels both familiar and satisfying. Whether you're ordering for delivery or dining in, the restaurant has consistently delivered on taste, with a few occasional bumps that have yet to overshadow its reputation. With its combination of classic dishes like pupusas and Baleadas, Reina's is a go-to for those looking for authentic, homey meals in the heart of Richmond.

My family and I regularly order pupusas from here on Uber Eats and they are always fresh and delicious. They often give extra curtido and salsa when we request. I appreciate when they label and separate the pupusas, it makes it easy for us to know which one is which. The pupusas are very full and cooked well. Curtido has a lot of peppers which is delicious. I would recommend.

This time our pupusas didn't have the characteristic and delicious flavors like before, not sure if it was due that it was on a Friday's noon, but we were kind of disappointed, also because we ordered two Baleadas, and when we reached home to eat these Baleadas, we noticed they haven't added any avocado on them!! So another disappointment. But, we hope that next time we are going to enjoy their food as before.
